The Legacy Audit: Aligning Your Values for Meaningful Impact

Morning Breakout Session II

What does it mean to leave a legacy in a field that often feels like an endless cycle of emails, meetings, and grading? Too often, we focus on the "what" of our daily roles—the to-do lists and role objectives—while losing sight of the "who" we are becoming.

In this interactive workshop, you are invited to pause the "busy-ness" and conduct a Legacy Audit – aligning your professional output with your personal values. Through this 'Audit' process, we will explore how to identify your core values and map them to your daily work. This isn't about doing more; it’s about ensuring that the impact you are making is meaningful. Join us to move from navigating a career to cultivating a legacy.

Shauna Colbath

For Shauna Colbath, work is centered on being the person who says, "I see your potential, now let’s build the skills to match it." In her dual roles as a staff member and an adjunct faculty member, she has spent the last ten years focusing on those early "onboarding" days where a little bit of coaching and a lot of empathy can change a person's entire trajectory. She is passionate about creating spaces where people feel safe enough to fail and supported enough to keep going. The most rewarding part of her work is watching the "lightbulb moment" when a student or a staff member realizes they are capable of more than they thought. Shauna is a New Hampshire resident who balances her professional life with her favorite roles: being an avid reader and a mom to two.
